Job Description:
As an Electronic Engineer, you will be an experienced engineer with practical knowledge of electrical/electronic drawing/schematics, PCB layouts, and electrical and electronic testing and characterization. You will work on electrical/electronic equipment from concept to production for a medical application. This role will involve a mix of electrical/electronic design, simulation, testing, and characterization in a multidisciplinary project. The role will be hands-on and include using machines and test equipment.
This role is part of a small team. As such you will share the responsibility of realising CardiacBooster’s full potential alongside your peers. The successful candidate will have entrepreneurial spirit, the required persistence to succeed in a start-up environment, and the ability to work in a self-directed manner with minimal direction and supervision. Knowledge and experience in the development of cardiovascular devices/working within the medical devices industry would be very beneficial to this role but not a prerequisite. You will be a team player and have excellent communication skills. This role will work from the company’s office in Ireland and be in a position to travel occasionally.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
PCBA and Schematic capture through Altium
LTSpice simulation
´xperience with electronic test and measurement equipment
Design experience to comply with 60601 regulations / standards.
Working closely with a multidisciplined team (Mechanical & Firmware/Software)
Required Qualifications & Characteristics:
4-5 years experience in a similar role as an Electronics Engineer
Strong fundamental knowledge of Electronics
Candidates should have knowledge of FDA regulation processes for medical device engineering efforts.
Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic) degree required.
